余靖(黎耀祥飾)出身於官宦世家，父親余博文(張國強飾)乃宋寧宗(郭峰飾)的師父及其「造王者」。博文一次失言自認為寧宗的「造王者」，寧宗有感龍顏受辱，遂借國舅楊次山(李國麟飾) 藉詞誣陷博文寫反詩。博文得知後即命弟子董昭(鄭則士飾)以寫反詩之罪先告發自己，好讓董昭領功不讓奸臣得勢。…
