C left a voicemail, 22:30 at my work number, gutsy but not quite gutsy enough, didn't feel happy, or sad, or justified, or cathartic, just gee yet another phone call to return... I probably had a surprised look on my face when CH came into my office and I felt I had to explain, that was silly, but that was probably the highlight of her day, hmm that sounds a bit conceited... and, as I am spending time now writing about it, it becomes clear that I really don't care if we never cross path again. C will get news from R. That is not my concern. I confess, playing with R brings out the predator in me. It is fun.
R just called, offering me his vacation schedule
subbies always make me smile, just the other day I was feeling so bored, all work and no play...
