last night K was no show, so I was the only one left from the group from 3 weeks ago. I stayed for the circle chat because of the topic and had a really interesting conversation with RH (a professional opera singer!) and D (interested in Chinese horoscope) and V (didn't count because he didn't want to talk). RH gave me insight on taking risk and trusting things will work out. That really reminded me of C. And it dawned on me how silly it was to long for something that I could never be. I have never been comfortable with just "trusting things will work out". I like control. I like security, especially financial security. It wasn't that we didn't love each other enough, it was simply that I couldn't live the way C wanted, and C couldn't live the way I needed.
so, going forward, guess I should only date people with investment plans
