【Story】

　　在遙遠的未來，那時海賊船是一種被認可的私掠船。在這樣的時代中，女高中生茉莉香一邊在參與宇宙快艇部的活動，一邊在高級咖啡廳打工。突然，有兩名男女自稱是茉莉香死去的父親的部下，邀請她擔任宇宙海賊船“弁天號”的船長。根據在1世紀前的獨力戰爭中發行的“私掠船只執照”，失去了船長的海賊船的繼承權，將世襲地由其直系子孫獲得。究竟等待著茉莉香的新生活是什麼呢？
