Snoring is common for people who have a short neck and a small jaw.

1. Don't get drunk. People snore more when they are drunk.

2. Sleep on your side. Sleeping on your back there is a higher chance of your tongue falling back and blocking your airway once you're asleep.

3. Lose weight. Less fat on the neck, less weight on the airway.

4. Warn your friends. Let them choose whether they want to share a room with you or bring ear plugs.

5. Get surgery. There is a minor surgery that can be done to improve this. A friend had this done and it works.

6. Don't fall asleep at work.
